Eddie was a cool and peaceful dude! He always made me more calm because of his laid back nature. He loved his Horn(Sax) and his music. He would bring his band to KU to party, and even let me sing a few bars with his band. I am thankful that we got to hook up when he came to visit Kansas City the summer before he passed away. Don't expect to see St. Peter at the pearly gates. I'm sure Eddie's taking his place and introduced him to some Coltrane!
Eddie passed away about 3 summers ago. I gave the info on his passing to Brenda Kelly the week he died but I never saw anything in our newsletter. I also provided information on Marquita Meeks because they died close to the same time,
